New Horse Barn

The New Horse barn is up and under roof. The Horse exhibitors are able to use the new facility this year at the fair. It is not complete, but has nearly 100 stalls completed and it is usable! They are looking for stall sponsors. This would include a $100 donation towards the barn and then your name would be placed on a plaque and placed on a stall door. The barn is beautiful, so come take a look at the new facility!

1/2 way through the fair

There is lots to see at the Venango County Fair, So make sure You're There!  The exhibits buildings are full this year with interesting and new exhibits. This week has been a busy week to say the least, but it has been a fun and exciting week here at the Venango County Fair! Here are a few highlights from the fair so far this week. If you haven't been to the fair yet, there is still 3 days to come and enjoy the fun with us!

Monday
The 4-H Market goat show and the 4-H Dairy goat show was larger than in the recent years.

The Sheep show followed the goats in the afternoon. Then Monday evening, the track was a busy place with the Demo Derby and a new event for the Fair, Lawnmower Mud Races. The stands were full and the crowds seemed to enjoy every minute.

Tuesday
On Tuesday the arena was busy with the Hog Show.

We did have rain on Tuesday and had to cancel the Lawnmower pulls, but they will most likely be back next year.

Wednesday
The beef show...

At the same time, the 4-H horse show....

The evening was the Antique Farm Tractor Pulls, but the kids had something else in mind. The Kids' Pedal Tractor Pulls. This was a time of real determination and lots of leg work.
